The problem
Where pest control calls go missing
An unanswered call becomes a treatment booked with the next company that picks up.
- You are crawling through a roof cavity with a torch in your teeth
- You are under a house checking bearers for termites
- The inspection runs long and the report still needs writing
- A family kept awake by rats rings the next company on the list
What Bridget handles
What Bridget does on a pest control call
- Urgent pests: nests near people, rats in the roof, termites found
- General pest: cockroaches, spiders, ants and fleas, booked or quoted
- Termites: inspections and treatment quotes, with the house type noted
- Pre-purchase: timber pest inspections, with the settlement date taken first
- Property managers: rentals, common areas and whole strata blocks
- Warranty: pests back after a treatment, with the last treatment date
- Timing questions: when the technician is coming, taken as a call back

How pest controllers use Bridget

- CallerAbout a week. It is getting worse.
- BridgetHave you seen them anywhere in the house, or only heard them in the roof?

- CallerThere is a manhole in the hallway. Someone is home after three.
- BridgetThanks. I have marked this as urgent for the technicians, with the children and the cat noted, and they will call you back on this number to book a time. Is the number you are calling from the right one?

Pest control answering service FAQs
Will my customers know they are talking to AI?
Yes. Our Acceptable Use Policy requires every agent to say it is AI at the start of every call and to tell callers when calls are recorded, so Bridget opens every call by saying it is the pest control company's AI receptionist.
Will it sound robotic?
Choose Bridget's voice and listen to it first. In the free Starter trial, ring Bridget from your browser as a customer with a wasp nest by the back door.
Can it tell callers whether a treatment is safe for children and pets?
No. Bridget gives no safety advice about products. It asks who lives in the home, including children, pets and anyone pregnant or asthmatic, and can read out preparation steps you give it.
What happens if someone has been stung or there is a snake?
Bridget is not an emergency service. For a sting with a reaction, it is set up to tell the caller to ring 000. For a snake, it gives your snake catcher number, or 000 if someone is bitten. It may not recognise every emergency.
Can it book pre-purchase timber pest inspections?
Yes. Bridget takes the address, the buyer's and agent's details and the cooling-off or finance date, then books it or writes it up as a call back. Close dates are marked urgent.
Does it work with my job software?
Bridget books into Google Calendar, Outlook, Calendly, Cal.com or GoHighLevel, and can post each call result to your CRM or job software by webhook. On different software? Name it when you book a demo, and we will tell you what connects today.
